Hands-On IV Skills Training for Nursing Students & New Nurses

Build confidence.

Improve technique.

Practice in a supportive environment.

About

The IV Club was created by a Bay Area emergency department nurse with a passion for IV skills and a love for teaching. Working in the ER means placing IVs in fast-paced, high-pressure situations, and over time I’ve developed techniques that help improve success and build confidence with vascular access.

I started The IV Club to create a supportive space where nursing students and new nurses can practice IV skills outside of the clinical setting. Many students don’t get enough opportunities to practice during school, and hands-on repetition can make all the difference.

Through small group workshops and private coaching sessions, my goal is to help healthcare learners feel more comfortable, confident, and prepared when it comes time to place IVs in real patient care settings.

The IV Club is all about practical skills, real-world tips, and learning in a relaxed environment where questions are always welcome.
